Lighting kills 15

A farmer lost nearly a third of his livestock after one of the worst animal accidents ever in Norway.

A lightning bolt struck the area just before 6 a.m., killing four sheep and 11 lambs that had sought shelter under a spruce tree.
The lightning bolt that struck the Norwegian farming village was so powerful that telephone and electricity lines were knocked out and all neighbors interviewed in the area had been awoken by the blast.
