It was earlier reported that Honda are planning to launch the diesel variant of their currently existing models. Honda CR-V is one of the top selling SUV in the Indian automobile field and now Honda will use their newly developed diesel engine in its CR-V to boost its sales and compete in the current Indian market.

This new Honda CR-V Diesel i-CTDi, a luxurious SUV in the D segment, features a 2200cc, CRDi, 4 Cylinder diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 134bhp and a maximum torque of about 347Nm. This new Honda CR-V Diesel i-CTDi, with a 6-Speed Manual Gear transmission is said to have a mileage of about 14 kmpl in the cities and about 18 kmpl in the highways.

With the arrival of this new luxurious SUV, CR-V Diesel i-CTDi, Honda is all set to compete with the likes of Chevrolet Captiva, Hyundai Tucson, Nissan X-Trail etc. This new luxurious SUV, Honda CR-V Diesel i-CTDi is expected to be launched by June 2011 and might have a price tag of around Rs 31 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Honda Accord is a luxurious sedan, which is one of the hot selling brand in the Indian automobile field. Now, after manufacturing only petrol engines for decades, Honda has produced its first diesel engine in order to boost the sales of it's currently available models in India. This new common-rail diesel engine, developed by Honda will be first implemented in it's Honda Accord.

This new Honda Accord Diesel i-DTEC, a luxurious sedan in the D segment, features a 2200cc, four cylinder, common-rail diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 134bhp and a maximum torque of about 347Nm. This new Honda Accord Diesel i-DTEC, with a 5-Speed transmission is said to have a mileage of about 15 kmpl in the cities and about 19 kmpl in the highways.

With the arrival of this new luxurious sedan, Accord Diesel i-DTEC, Honda is all set to compete with the likes of Skoda Superb Diesel, Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3-series and the Volkswagen Passat. This new luxurious sedan, Honda Accord Diesel i-DTEC is expected to be launched by March 2011 and might have a price tag of around Rs 22 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Honda is all set to launch it's much hyped sports bike for the Indian automobile field by April 2011. This new Honda sports bike, named as Honda CBR250R will be first bike in 250cc segment to features combined anti-lock braking system which prevents wheel lock during sudden braking or under unfavorable conditions.

This new Honda CBR250R features a dimension of 2035*720*1125 as the Lengh*Width*Height respectively. it weighs about 161kg and Ground Clearance as well as Wheelbase are about 145mm and 1370mm respectively. This new Honda sports bike will be available in India with a 249cc Four-stroke, Single Cylinder Petrol Engine and it will give a Maximum Power of 26 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and a Maximum Torque of 23 Nm @ 7000 rpm.

This new Honda CBR250R features a Telescopic Suspension at the front and a Swing Arm Suspension at the rear. It also provides a somewhat desccent mileage of about 25kmpl on the cities and about 35kmpl on the highways. The total capacity of the fuel tank is about 13 ltrs. New Honda CBR250R will be available in three shades - Red, Black and Grey.
